Onewheel GoPro Mount

Wanted to mount a GoPro to the Onewheel to get some different ride shots but found that the GoPro accessories either fall off or wobble so much the footage is unusable. Noticed some designs elsewhere but just didn't quite fit my needs.   This mount allows you to attach the GoPro upside-down above the rail to your board. Since the GoPro is upside-down the sensor is on the outer-most side leaving the rest of the GoPro inset above the rail out of the way. This model currently comes in 4 variations. Standard rail facing forward. Standard rail angled 5 degrees to the side off the rail. Standard rail with sidekicks facing forward. Standard rail with sidekicks angled 5 degrees to the side off the rail. (Sidekick versions allow for 3mm extra space vertically)This is designed to look down the rail so most of the footage isn't just the wheel. If you want even less wheel in the shot an angled version exists (5 degrees off the rail) so you can capture even more of the float (see video's and preview images)   With this mount you can get steady and low footage of your rides without the GoPro sticking out too far or ruining your rides style. Foam inserts added to help dampen any bumps and to protect the rails from the mount gauging them.   Since this is upside-down the footage will be too. You can either rotate the recording orientation in the GoPro settings or in a video editor afterwards.   Video's below for example footage of what you should expect to see.   GoPro Mount (Straight) Examplehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s_GV2jOrVc GoPro Mount (Angled) Examplehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUrjE2B7U_s     ~ THINGS YOU'LL NEED ~ The printed parts GoPro Hero GoPro Hero waterproof housing Foam strips (sticky back or have something to stick them to plastic) 4x M5 38mm (threaded section) countersunk bolts 5x M5 Hexagonal nuts 1x M5 25mm (threaded section) bolt   ~ ASSEMBLY ~ Print the parts with the print settings from the "Print Settings" tab Remove the support material and ensure the bolts fit in the holes, if not drill them out with an appropriate bit. Press fit the nuts into the hexagonal holes. If they don't go in use a bolt to tighten them in. Apply foam to the large surface on each print where the rail will sit. (See images if unsure) Place the 4 long bolts into the mount arm and slide that over the rail be it in front of the axle or behind it. Slide the Plate on the other side of the rail with the arrow facing up. Align the bolts and slowly tighten them a turn at a time till the mount is mostly rigid. Don't over-tighten this as you could snap the print, weaken it or damage the motor cable if it's mounted close to it. If you have tightened it and there is a lot of thread exposed beyond the nuts you can either add more foam to space it out or opt for a shorter bolt. Place the GoPro in the case the slide it into the mount from the underside. Insert the last bolt (the short one) to secure the GoPro. If you have rubber hair on your tyre it might hit the GoPro as it spins and make an irritating sound both for you and the footage. These are safe to cut as they a re a byproduct from manufacturing and not used for wear indication.
