OneUp / TwoUp / ThreeUp X-Axis Endstop Holder
thingiverse
EDIT 4/7/2016: V2. 3 major changes: (1) The holder/bracket width is now significantly reduced, freeing up more print area. (2) Slots for M3 nuts are added inside the bracket, eliminating the need for a wrench. (3) Zip-tie slots are incorporated on top to prevent the mount from falling off x-axis rods. The design was also tweaked to fit better, with modified clips and dimensions. This custom endstop holder is designed specifically for my ThreeUp v2 printer, which has undergone modifications. Most existing x-axis endstop mounts rely on factory parts that I've replaced in my setup. Note: When attaching the curved ends to steel rods, some may break off, but the mount should still function securely. To ensure stability, top and bottom holes are designed for bolts, zip ties, or other fasteners. Fortunately, additional support isn't required at this time, but it's there if needed in the future. Printer: ThreeUp v2 Settings: Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Honeycomb Notes: Supports set at 30 degrees; 1.75mm filament; max speed 50; 196C/194C first layer/other layers; 6 perimeter layers; took about 50 minutes to print.
