CAUTION: Very thin airfoil (test version weighs just 0.42 grams printed with 100% infill). If you want to print this, make sure your printer is properly calibrated, or risk the propeller breaking off if you plan on using it for more than testing purposes. This propeller has been designed using the Onera HOR04 airfoil coordinates. All tests were performed on the Drone Propeller Thrust Testing Jig (all results below). I printed this part with a slow setting, using a 0.2mm nozzle at 0.04 layer height. I deburred and cleaned the print with an X-ACTO Knife. After that, I finished the propeller using 500 grit sandpaper. Here are the readings for a few voltage presets (also visible in the pictures taken): - 1.5V => 8.43 grams - 2V => 19.04 grams - 2.5V => 27.71 grams - 3V => 36.41 grams The files I included contain all pictures relevant to the test, along with 6 txt files that contain airfoil coordinates, STL files and SLDPRT files. Should you want to play with the propeller, get a bunch of 8520 coreless motors. Use the SLDPRT files if you desire to make your own changes to the propeller. The airfoil is plotted by using the matplotlib library in python.
