Human: Custom case for OnePlus X, resembling cheese when printed in yellow. Offers easy access to all buttons, camera and charging connector. Compatible with AUKEY round magnet for attaching phone to magnetic car holder. I had to cover speakers at the bottom to prevent fragility on the sides. This does not significantly impact loudspeaker performance, as I primarily use Bluetooth speakers while driving. This is my first modeling project, created solely to learn how to design around an existing object. Printed in PLA, it requires care when inserting the phone but can withstand moderate force without breaking. Sharp borders are easily smoothed with a cutter, although version 2 has rounded edges for improved comfort. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.16 Infill: 40% (mostly solid) Notes: I used brim instead of raft due to the flat surface's ability to stick well to the plate. Post-Printing: Smoothing Edges I use a cutter to smooth sharp edges, as it's impossible to do so during printing, especially on the backside.
