OnePlus Two Case: A Deliberate Mistake Turns Out to Be a Great Design Decision My 3D printer unexpectedly created some bubbles, which at first, seemed like a major flaw. However, upon closer inspection, I fell in love with the unique effect and decided to leave it as is for my case. It was an unexpected turn of events that ultimately led to a stunning outcome. As you can see, the initial red layer helped raise the walls higher, but I decided to take things further by adjusting the STL file itself. The modifications not only made the design more aesthetically pleasing but also improved its overall functionality. Adding two corners provided extra grip and ensured a perfect fit, making it an essential element that might seem unnecessary at first but is ultimately crucial. Thanks to these changes, the design turned out flawlessly. If you have any similar projects, please share your photos for inspiration and feedback. Here's a quick rundown of my print settings: - Rafts: Not used - Supports: None needed After the print was complete, I applied minimal post-processing tweaks to refine the appearance. The design process itself was accomplished using SolidWorks Student Edition. If you're interested in collaborating or need any files, feel free to reach out – I'm always happy to share!
