Both parts are locked securely in place by a zip tie connecting them together. The parts can be printed lying on their side, which maximizes strength and simplicity (very little support material is needed in this way). Previous attempts to remove from the bike a previous version of this mount led to a lengthy struggle, so I definitely trust this contraption to hold my phone firmly in place! Lateral_holder and Longitudinal_holder files pair: Fits perfectly on the stem of my mountain bike. Lateral_holder_33x34 and Longitudinal_holder_33x34 files pair: Fits snugly on the stem of my racing bike (FSA 0S-99, elliptical cross-section, dimensions: 32.57mm width, 34.1mm height). Print Settings Printer: BFB 3D Touch Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 mm/layer Infill: 20% Notes: The awful slicer decided to leave a gap along the width of the longitudinal support element, which coincidentally provides very nice stiffness. I will design a model with the gap in place from the start for people with better slicers and printers.
