OnePlus One Cellphone and Ringke Fusion Case Stand
thingiverse
This is a simple cellphone stand designed for the OnePlus One phone with the Ringke Fusion case. If you're searching for a case, I highly recommend the Ringke fusion case as it's currently my top pick. The OnePlus will fit on this stand without the Ringke Fusion case but might feel loose. I'm planning to design one for the bare OnePlus One in the future. I've embossed the text - which looks fine from where I am (see screen shots). There is a cutout for the volume rockers, and the tabs that retain the phone are spaced correctly so they don't obstruct any part of the screen image. I hope to help out anyone who might be searching for cellphone holders with OnePlus One's. Here's a breakdown: Instructions - Six different printer settings are available - three various angles and two versions of each. The best viewing angle is between 15 degrees, 25 degrees, and 40 degrees, depending on the desired setup. Using the 15-degree tilt is excellent for those who wish to use their cellphone as a rearview mirror in vehicles so other drivers don't catch you off guard. The maximum safe viewing angle with minimal risk of the phone falling out from its mount occurs at this position. If watching movies, the flat screen viewing option is useful. Do not utilize it in conjunction with car navigation because this might compromise vehicle safety - and stability, due to less holding strength on both vertical and horizontal angles respectively. For plane trips, an excellent general purpose view for use on the tray-table. For those seeking a slightly flatter angle to better view their cellphone from a distance without compromising readability - consider printing it. Each design contains variations - with cutout backs offering more space in terms of weight reduction but sacrificing thickness - at approximately 2mm compared to its predecessor. My own settings had little trouble making prints, whereas programs like Slic3D and Cura didn't have my exact setup requirements. Using Rafted supports greatly improves the adhesion to bed so I could use supports. After peeling corners when attempting a solid print without rafts using these other two, it really is an optimal decision for anyone trying this. It took approximately six hours or slightly longer in total duration per part. Just make sure to follow thingiverse orientation properly by laying down each component face up as you assemble - and be certain that parts do not warp when drying (3/1 updated files are converted to mm measurements).
