To achieve optimal results when printing this car mount, it's essential to print it on its side with support. Printing flat can compromise the strength of the design due to the build layers. The ideal material for this project is ABS. This choice ensures that the mount withstands high temperatures inside a vehicle, unlike PLA which can become weak in such conditions. To further enhance stability and prevent warping, it's recommended to print with a raft. When printed on its side, the contact surface between the printbed and the mount is minimal, making a raft essential for a successful print.
