Warning: Don't print this unless your printer is well calibrated and especially not over-extruding! The clearances are tight and your cable might get stuck; never use force on your cable. If you don't know how to calibrate your printer, I can recommend this article on [Matt's Hub](https://mattshub.com/2017/04/19/extruder-calibration/). After proper calibration, enjoy this docking station. I have removed and reinserted my cable dozens of times without issues or damaging it. --- I was looking for a docking station for my OnePlus 6 and stumbled upon the one by [JimmyJohansson](https://www.thingiverse.com/JimmyJohansson). It's great, but put too much stress on the cable in my opinion. So I increased the height of the base a little so the bend for the cable doesn't need to be quite as sharp. Meanwhile, I also did a little bit of cleanup, increased the size of the speaker hole and gave it a little redesign. As the original, it's still intended to be used with the clear case shipped with the phone. INSTALLATION (Instructions by Jimmy): 1. Print 2. Check for sharp edges 3. Thread the USB C connector through the hole at the bottom 4. Gently tug on the cable so it goes through the slot to the middle 5. Push down the connector in the middle slot. Pull gently on the cable while doing this, don't pull hard! You might damage it. 6. Thread the cable backwards and pull a little so it's a bit taut 7. From the front to the back, wiggle the cable into the recess. You might need to use something to pry it in there if it's snug. With a well-calibrated printer this shouldn't be an issue 8. Done! --- * v.1.1 has a 0.5mm wider slot on the bottom for the cable, as it was quite tight. I haven't printed it again, since I was quite happy with my first print, so let me know how easily the cable can be inserted when you print it. * v.1.2 Now I actually looked where the problem was and widened the right slot. The cable now slides in everywhere without problem. Also increased the size of the speaker slot even more. Does it make a difference compared to the old design? Maybe.. I'm not an sound engineer, so I have no clue how to best amplify the sound, but I think it looks cool. (If you prefer the small speaker hole, you can download the original file, but you have to pull your cable a little harder.)
