I found two separate parts difficult to assemble, so I merged them into one cohesive piece. Occasionally, however, you may need to remove excess filament from the reed to produce sound, unless printed exactly as shown. In this case, the noise can be quite loud, like a train speeding by at 200 or 250 percent of its normal speed. Alternatively, if you gently suck on the hole rather than the reed and then flick your tongue against it, you may hear a high-pitched bird whistle sound.
