Onefinity Machinist Vacuum Hose Boom
thingiverse
This Boom was inspired by the "Suckit Vacuum Hose Boom" by @makermark (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3235016)While being heavily influenced by the above-mentioned item this was 100% designed in Fusion360 by myself.Additional Parts I purchased and designed this around are:2 - Carbon Fiber tubes ( I cut 2 10" lengths and used one leftover piece for the last extension on the boom):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V6TRBB1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=12 - bearings that sandwich the "spacer" between the upper and lower base pieces: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082PWQNJB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=116 - 3mm x 15mm or longer dowel pins (I used 18mm as I had them on hand):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KFL96TQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=14 - m3x35mm screws/bolts4 - m3 lock nuts1 - m5x10mm screw/bolt ( I used m5x15mm as I had it on hand)Tolerances for the 3mm dowels were very tight on purpose I required a few taps with a hammer to get them seated. The F3D file is attached if you need to adjust anything for your printer's tolerances. NOTE The straps were printed in Overture TPU all other printed parts were made with the specified Polymaker Atikam Blue HTPLA called out in the print settings section.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VDP2S3P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
