OneFinity CNC Vacuum hose boom mount
thingiverse
Update 11 July 21: I increased the cavity size to better fit a 1" pipe. I left the original design up because it worked for me (and may work for others). The new one references 25.5mm in the file name. I really like MakerrMark's hose boom; however, I wanted to mount the boom to my CNC instead of a work surface. I also wanted an easy option to place the boom on either side of the machine since my Onefinity is on a mobile stand. I am only including the base I created. See MakerrMark's design for the remaining pieces and printing instructions. I created this mount for the Boom used on the Onefinity CNC. The round portion simply inserts into the Onefinity CNC Aluminum end-Cap just above the stepper motor. You can use it on the left or right end-cap, it does not matter. My printer produced it so that it fits snugly and no screw is required. I prefer it this way because it can be removed easily. You CAN use an M5x12 screw in the existing threaded hole on the aluminum extrusion to hold it in place if desired. Simply print the part with the round extension facing up and you will not need any supports Printing: Infil - 20% (or more) No supports needed if printed with tube facing up
