### OneBlade Clamp Adapter (Glue Free Version) ##### If a clamp has broken on your OneBlade comb, you can use this adapter. Just make sure both clamps are removed before using the adapter. ##### davdor669's version unfortunately didn't fit my OneBlade. Don't know if this has to do with my printer settings or if there are different revisions of the electronic razor and its accessories. ##### Anyway, the thought struck me to see if the model had any improvement potential, because I was already going to tinker with the scaling. ##### I would also like to add that I have only tested the model with the 3 mm comb, but it should work with other ones as well. ###### . ### The following has been changed from the original: - ##### Scaling (this has already been changed, so nothing you should change in the slicer!) - ##### Y and X axis = 101% - ##### Z axis = 110% - ##### Self-gripping arms - Didn't think that this could be done on a FDM printer, but it worked flawlessly. The arms grip the cavities on the sides of the comb. The positioning ensures that the adapter cannot move upwards. No glue is necessary! - ##### Grooves - Made these grooves in hope that the adapter would flex more easily during assembly and removal. Don't know if this made any difference, but I left the change anyway. Don't know if this was a problem with the original as I could never test it... But probably it wasn't a problem as no one pointed it out ;P ###### . ### Print information: - ##### Printer: Ender 3 (the only modifications made are PEI bed, Capricorn tube and a cheap dual drive extruder) - ##### Bed: PEI with rough surface (should probably work on glass with glue stick as well) - ##### Nozzle: 0.4 mm (Ender 3 original) - ##### Material: Black PETG from 123ink. Have not tested any other material but I would guess that PLA is too hard, which probably leads to the arms coming off during assembly. - ##### Temperature: Nozzle 230C, bed 80C - ##### Cooling fan: 50% - ##### Retraction distance: 6 mm (a relatively high value should help with stringing, I almost got zero stringing) - ##### Layer height: All layers, including first, 0.2 mm - ##### Infill: 100% - ##### Support: NO! No support is required. - ##### Brim / Raft: NO! This is not needed either. Should you have problems with adhesion, try a higher temperature on the bed. And clean your bed. - ##### Initial layer speed: 10 mm/s (also important to increase adhesion when printing such small models). ###### . ##### The modification was done in FreeCAD on a Linux powered machine. ##### Have a good time, and don't drink and print!
