To enhance my Two-Up printer's performance, I focused on improving the gantry setup and bed travel error. The original bed had noticeable play of up to 2mm, causing issues during prints with rapid direction changes. By replacing the stock bearings with smaller linear bearings and adding designed bearing holders, the bed became rock-solid with no play. This modification greatly improved print quality, particularly for thin wall prints prone to stringing due to error. For installation, print two of these bearing holders, ensuring a tight fit for the bearings, then secure them in place on the printer's platform. The results were fantastic, reducing noticeable misalignments and producing better prints overall. For the bearings, check out this Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008RIKN7W/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. A recent update includes a separate piece for mounting to the structure rather than a table. For installation, drill smaller holes on each side of the wood screw holes, apply super glue to edges, and then secure the mounts in place using wood screws.
