One Up / Two Up Slim Bowden X Carriage
prusaprinters

Since bowden systems don't have the motor on the carriage, I thought it would be a good idea to make it slimmer for extra x-axis distance.

NOTE: X AXIS WILL HAVE TO BE INVERTED TO USE THIS.

I decided to put the belt tensioner on the bottom so I can put the mounting holes on top for more z axis travel. I included the source file for this part if anyone wants to change that.

Known Issue: The fan support may bump into the bolt that holds the right x-carriage belt bearing. I will try to update this part to prevent that.

For the extra parts, such as the fan duct, visit macattak's page and download them from there. Since this is a remix, all his parts will still work with this; I just don't want to upload parts I didn't edit or recreate from scratch.

Update: Added ubis mount. Didn't fix the issue of bumping into the bolt yet though.

Instructions

NOTE: X AXIS WILL HAVE TO BE INVERTED TO USE THIS.

Requires 2 LM8UU bearings.

Changing the orientation before printing might help with the mounts.
Category: 3D Printer Parts
