One-Sided Ratchet Print In Place

(UPDATED VERSION AVAILABLE) https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/improved-one-sided-ratchet-joint This model prints all in one go. It is a variation on my original ratchet joint. This model is one-sided, meaning it's a little bit easier to loosen the joint because the ratchet mechanism is not sandwiched between two plates (as it was in the original model.) For this updated version, there is only one side where the filament is stuck together. The joint is firmly held together by a 45 degree wedge. It will not separate. It can still be difficult to loosen the joint once it is printed. Be patient, and make sure there is no excess filament clogging the joint. Then, you can use force to split the joint open. The silver filament I used for this joint seems to be softer than the black filament used for the other ratchets. As a result, this ratchet feels smoother to rotate and less "click-y." The type of filament used will affect the feel of your printed ratchet joint. Check out my YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVC5w5Ix_Bo
