One Ring

The One Ring proved to be one of the most potent artifacts ever forged in Middle-earth. Crafted by the Dark Lord Sauron in the fiery depths of Orodruin, also known as Mount Doom, during the Second Age, it was designed to amplify his own authority and exert control over the other Rings of Power, which had been skillfully created by Celebrimbor and his people with Sauron's guidance. By doing so, he hoped to secure dominion over the Elves and all the other races in Middle-earth. The One Ring was also referred to as the Ruling Ring, the Master Ring, the Ring of Power, and Isildur's Bane.
