One Piece Spool Holder
thingiverse
I initially aimed for a more intricate design, but as I thought it through, I found myself drawn to something straightforward and practical. Initially, I swapped from frame mounts to bearing mounts that sit on my desk - they're one of those cluttered items you see scattered around. They worked passably, but the spool and rolls consistently skewed off-center, so I sought a different solution and couldn't find anything fitting my vision, which is why I decided to create my own. I printed it in PETG; I should have used PLA, but that's what was loaded into the printer when I queued it from work - that's just how it turned out. It took around 7 hours to print on my i3 MK3 with 2 perimeters and 20% infill.\r\n\r\nedit: added the current iteration of the spool holder.
