In a small package measuring only 50x42x20mm, this extruder accommodates a single printable part for the entire assembly. Ideal for NEMA17 motors and designed for 3mm filament, it may be modified to suit 1.75mm with a PTFE pipe. Requiring a brass insert (like Adrian Geared Extruder), a 608ZZ bearing, screw, and nut, this extruder design omits springs, necessitating pressure adjustment during motor mounting. Tested for filament usage but not printing as of 18/01/2013, the design has since been centrally adjusted for hotend exit holes, experienced a modified brass insert space, and received an updated mounted extruder picture on 22/01/2013. Further changes on 24/01/2013 increased filament access. To use, install the purchased extruder type with 30mm between M3 screws, securing it to a hotend via carriage. Adjust the hotend and extruder setup before mounting the motor, fine-tuning the position for optimal filament grasping through extrusion tests. Lastly, tighten the two M3 motor screws when correct positioning is achieved.
