Updated on 10th June 2014: This is the completed version of the one-piece Eggbot print, featuring modifications around the right side idle shaft for accommodating an egg holder cup. The cup can hold a standard-sized egg or even a golf ball. Mechanically, my creation works perfectly; however, I'm still struggling with the software. I utilized two 625-2RS bearings, inserted into the housing's right side barrel. For the egg holder, I employed suction cup toy darts. An M4 screw and nut secure the pen-upright to the stepper motor shaft. Ensure that this combination doesn't introduce wobble; a smooth screw with threads only at the end is recommended. A HEXTRONIK HXT 500 servo is used, along with an idle arm that houses a Hitec HS-55 servo (initially wired backward but replaced due to reversed polarity). The Arduino mounts directly onto the frame, and stepper motor wires can be discreetly routed within it.
