One Piece OpenRC F1 2017 Front Suspension
thingiverse
After assembling the suspension parts and securing them with four screws, I noticed that it's possible to manufacture one part without using those screws altogether. The two screws required for mounting to the bottom PLA printed part and chassis remain essential components. I produced this component utilizing black TPU from zyltech.com at 30mm/sec and 220c temperature settings. Installing the M3 nuts onto the lower part can be somewhat challenging, and I'm still working on perfecting that aspect. On reviewing the original design, it became apparent that I inadvertently performed the opposite of what was intended - making the top parts flexible while manufacturing the lower BOM part from PLA. Despite this discrepancy, the assembly still possesses a pleasant spongy texture, leading me to decide against altering its configuration at present. To assemble this model, you will need to download the **Front_Lower_BOM_OpenRC_F1_2017.stl** file from the 2017 updates, as I did not include it in my initial upload. The design was created using openscad, making it easily modifiable for users familiar with that software.
