One-piece laptop stand: with feet and no hook
thingiverse
I use the original in an office environment to turn my laptop into a 2nd monitor. I made two changes for this remix: 1) I removed the 'hook' on the lip where the laptop sits. This allows the laptop to be opened and closed while on the stands. 2) I added two 'feet'. With a larger laptop in the most upright position the computer's weight bends the bottom runner. This actually lifts the front of the stands off the desk, and means the stands can rock back and forth. With two feet, it has only two points of contact and can no longer rock.
