Works perfectly with my MacBook Pro and my Sony Vaio SVT151A11L laptop, designed for most 15-inch laptops or smaller. This is my first serious FreeCAD design attempt. If you're eager to learn more complex shapes, I strongly suggest watching some FreeCAD videos on sketches and constraints. This stand has a distinct curved appearance, unlike my initial version (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:745209), but uses significantly more plastic. My second try, V2, was so poorly executed that it never made it to publication.
