It took the original elegant design and redrew it in my CAD (ANSYS Spaceclaim Engineer). It's a near-identical look, with the exception of grips which I didn't redo the pyramid-shaped ones from the original. I reworked it because I failed to print it despite following instructions. It looked fine coming off the printer, but grips broke off since they're attached by a small tab. The main structural change is that grips have a larger attachment to the top or bottom as required for function. Printed in PLA at 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill, 0.4 mm extruder, 3 layers on top, bottom, sides; supports were used: yes, standard plus additional support under curved arms that don't touch the build plate. When you take it off the printer, most visible supports should pop off. I used needle-nose pliers for some. The 1mm support between rings and curved arms is a bit trickier - I used a flat exacto knife to split it all around edges. If you do this, you can separate the top and bottom at grips while keeping the center connected, making it easy to remove support material. I exported STP and IGES files in case anyone wants to modify it. You can see it in action in the video.
