One Part Moulds for Malleable Material of Artifacts from the Art Institute of Chicago

thingiverse

In my residency at The Art Institute, I'm working on a 3D printed book series featuring sculptures and bas reliefs from AIC. These are derived from 123D Catch scans and will be joined by more moulds of other museum pieces. Sculptures have been cleaned in Netfabb and subtracted from cuboids using Netfabb Pro or Blender. To create copies, use play doh or similar malleable material in the moulds.
