One More Pumpkin - Happy Halloween!

A standard gourd adorned with a small hole, traditionally used for hanging, presented an opportunity to explore its miniature counterparts as decorative earrings. Initially, I aimed to produce smaller pumpkins that could be securely fastened to ears using the stem's perforation. However, scaling down proved challenging due to inconsistent printing results at various magnifications. To better illustrate these findings, two different scale prints were displayed: one reduced to 12% and the other to 35% of its original size. The smaller pumpkin was printed with an unusually high layer resolution of 50 microns, achieving more intricate details. Key Printing Parameters No raft supports were used in this instance A minimalist approach was taken regarding infill patterns Resolution: Optimized for fine features between 50-100 microns Infill settings: Approximately 20% density to minimize weight while maintaining structural integrity. This design took advantage of a Flexible printer plate from PRINTinZ for reduced warping during the printing process
