One Million Combination Cryptex

Warning, double-check the correct code before locking. Non-commercial use only for everyone's entertainment purposes. This is a 5-ring, 16-symbol per ring, cryptex designed to safeguard your deepest secrets with one million possible codes (16^5). The inner cavity opens at its mouth, approximately 30mm in diameter. The design aims to be discreet and unassuming, lacking the typical numbering found on similar devices. Instead, it features a single round protrusion, or "nipple," serving as a starting point indicator. Only the user is aware of the correct turning direction - clockwise or counterclockwise - required to apply the unlock code. Determining the top from the bottom can be challenging unless you know where to look. The cryptex consists of four printed parts: 1) Inner Crypt (IC): Compared to the Outer Crypt, this component has a slight difference in marking on its alignment bars. 2) Outer Crypt (OC) 3) Lock Ring (LR x5): This ring features a notch, known as the Keying Notch, which is slightly wider than the others. It serves as an indicator for inserting the Inner Crypt and includes redundant notches to prevent users from feeling the lock's mechanism. 4) User Code Slip Ring (SR x5) To set your own code, simply insert the Slip Ring at the correct position, offsetting your chosen code relative to the nipple's location while noting the Keying Notch on the Lock Ring. Remember your reference point - clockwise or counterclockwise from the nipple. If you're interested in a 4-billion-combination 8-ring version (16^8), feel free to comment. Designing This Daylight saving time had just begun, and I was unable to sleep due to its effects.
