One Hour 40mm Fan Shroud for MK8
thingiverse
I encounter issues with extremely thin parts melting, so I utilize the airflow from the fins to create directional cooling vents for some added assistance. This printer produces exceptionally thin prints at a remarkably fast pace. If you are concerned about strength in the arc or aesthetic appeal, consider using infill, but this being a fan-cooled part, I decided on a thinner build for optimal performance. I managed to adapt this design to fit another setup, but my initial attempt failed (a detail worth mentioning: extremely thin!). The second version, scaled up by 2%, printed flawlessly without any issues. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layer height Infill: N/A Notes: Using two outer perimeters may significantly enhance the print's structure and make it more robust; I will update accordingly. How I Created This: As a 3D builder, designing this part was straightforward, effortless, and rapid.
