One Handed Latching Button Clasp

<figure class="media"><oembed url="https://youtu.be/B5wGZl01ItM"></oembed></figure><p>For situations and people that may only have one hand free this simple quick clasp serves the purpose of a traditional button but adds a little flair and convenience.</p><p><strong>Options:</strong></p><ul><li><i>Left</i>, and <i>Right</i> handed variations provided.</li><li>Option A has a large easy to grasp loop to latch and unlatch the mechanism</li><li>Option B has a more subtle button to latch and unlatch the mechanism.&nbsp;</li><li>Pre-sliced files are also provided, utilizing mostly stock MK3s Prusa Slicer settings&nbsp;</li></ul><p>As always I will promote and REWARD the first people to post quality makes (must enable “Donate” option on your profile for reward). A quality make is a successful, complete, hopefully decent looking print at 100% scale.</p><p>Print with 4 walls and no supports-recommended to print at 100 scale in PLA,: of note petg and other less stiff materials may not work as intended, also rescaling will change the mechanical characteristics and may interfere with intended functionality.</p><p>Very much inspired by and built on the back of the compliant mechanism research of <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/177000-fabianveile/prints"><strong>Fabian Veile</strong></a> credit to him for his creative works, they are ongoing source of inspiration for what is possible in 3d printing.
