One hand modular dock for Nintendo Switch

This is the final edition of my Nintendo Switch dock. It adds openings for airflow and a lifting mechanism so that you can grab your switch with one hand! (Something I immediately wanted to add after trying the first version of the dock) Works with my original compact dock if you already printed one, but all files included here as well. Works like a charm and easy to carry on the go. Looking for a smaller alternative for the original Switch dock, I was disappointed with the current 3D printable offering being too bulky, hastily designed, and either being too loose for security or too stiff to detach easily. I also wanted a secure bigger dock at home but didn’t want to get a second one just for this purpose. That’s what I set out to answer with this design. The device sits nice and secure, while locating easily without damaging the USB-C port. For dismounting there is a push lever that lifts the Switch up while you grab it. The extension piece is not mandatory, but makes mounting easier, adds stability, and creates a sleek look. The best part is you can take the small dock on the go. With this central dock I went for the smallest size that is still sturdy enough to be tossed around in a bag. I printed mine with full supports and finished with slight sanding and a paint job. Modify the holes as needed for whatever screws you want to use, that’s what I did as I didn’t plan for any specific size of screws.
