Kart5a's concept is repurposed here with some minor adjustments that I hope enhance its functionality. Mark Manger, an Applied Artist from Denver, Colorado, invented GrOpener. Drawing inspiration from stick & screw openers he encountered in Africa during the 1990s, GrOpener employs the same leverage principle but presents it in a form that enables bottle opening through a simple grasp action.
