One Hand Book Holder cnc/laser

When reading with my little ones it's great to hold them snug in one arm while reading with the other hand free to turn the pages. Occasionally a book slips or the pages flip unexpectedly, so I figured out how to create one of these handy thumb page holders like this one or that one. Considering how quickly they can be made, I thought about making some extras as little gifts on hand for special occasions. It's also a good opportunity to experiment with different materials and see what works best with my tiny CNC machine. These projects were carried out using a desktop CNC machine provided by Stepcraft. I experimented with various woods, plastics, and aluminum materials.
