One Act Play Unit Set
thingiverse
Texas UIL competition requires balancing staging to accommodate rural schools with large cities, a theater teacher asked me to design a small set for tabletop without having students move everything around. The 23rd edition of the OAP states: A complete set consists of: (4) Three-Fold Flats (4) Two-Fold Flats (2) Eight-Foot Pylons (2) Six-Foot Pylons (2) Four-Foot Pylons (2) Four-by-Eight Foot Platforms (2) Four-by-Four Foot Platforms (4) One-By-One Foot Platforms (2) Four-Foot Steps (2) Two-Foot Steps (2) Four-by-Four Foot Ramps These files are scaled to one inch equals one foot. It also takes a large amount of plastic, with rafts using about a spool and a half (two failed prints) and a week of printing. Flats are created by stretching and merging bagelturf's hinges. I was only given width and length dimensions before finding the official plans on the website: http://www.uiltexas.org/files/academics/theatre/unit-set-drawings.pdf
