OnBelt Camera Stabilizer

OnBelt Camera Stabilizer

I created this camera stabilization system with travel in mind.Just think of the many many joints between the fingers and your hip bones, that could create potential movement to your camera.  The OnBelt system bypass all that potential points of movement and have the hip provide direct support to your camera.  Also, breathing causes movement in your shoulder and stomach.  You can get more stability, if you setup OnBelt over either of your hip bone. To setup, just clip the OnBelt holder to your belt and have the holder support your existing tripod column (selfie stick, or tripod extender).  OnBelt provide many great features and is a great alternative to shoulder rigs, gimbals, monopods and tripods:Compact and Lightweight - so you can always have it with youQuick Setup - so you don't miss the momentOf course, you can just try to balance the column on your belt.  But it can slip off, especially when holding the camera to you eye.  The OnBelt holder is so small and light, you might as well have it with you. When using the OnBelt system, I would use the camera as normal, with the collapsed tripod column attached to the camera.  My column has internal twist lock and collapse to 250mm, there are even columns that collapse to less than 200mm.  (to see the length of my collapsed tripod column compare the camera, click on the picture to view it in full mode). Then for shots that needs more stabilization, I just extend the column and attach it to the holder.  It's great for:Selfie Video (just turn the camera towards you) - take the camera weight off the wrist for better comfort and reduces the chance of injury.Night photos that require longer exposureWith long lenses on bush walksLong exposure, while standing still.  To get superior stabilization, spread your legs slightly apart, put the clip over one hip bone and put more of your body weight over that leg.Moving in crowded spaces, where there is limited spaces.Extend the column fully to take stabilized above head shotsUse in places where tripods are prohibited, like observatory deck and museumsTaking photos from shallow water, where you don't want your expensive tripod to get wet (you will stand in place of your tripod and get wet)Paning shots/stiched panoramic shotPixel Shift/High Resolution ModePrinting NotesPrint the model on it's side for better strength. You can check out my other prints at https://www.printables.com/social/76585-highrise-workshop/models.  And don't forget to click the “Like” button.
