A 30-foot narrow gauge drop bottom gondola, scaled precisely for On3. Three versions are available: wood, composite, and all-steel. The sides of each model feature real wood details to create a visually appealing appearance. However, the chassis and other steel components are provided as printed parts. The wooden car boasts truss rods for added realism, while the composite and all-steel models do not require these details. To achieve realistic drop doors, lead weights can be used; alternatively, plasticard sheets can be substituted to maintain running weight without adding extra material. This model is designed as a starting point for building gondolas, rather than a finished product. Once complete, photographs will be shared, and potential revisions may be made before finalizing the design. As it stands, this project is marked as Work in Progress (WiP) to accommodate ongoing development.
