I've got a water softener for my RV/motorhome courtesy of On The Go Portable Water Softeners, and the cap has a tendency to get stuck from salt buildup. To solve this problem, they offer a cap wrench available at https://www.portablewatersoftener.com/shop/water-softener-accessories, but I opted to design my own instead. My design features handles on opposing sides to provide better torque without risking damage to the cap wrench.
