Mike Moceri and Tom Burtonwood's project premiered on May 26th at The Southside Hub of Production for the exhibition "On Making Things Matter". They used a Kinect, Reconstructme, and Netfabb to 3D scan visitors at the opening reception, which were then printed using a MakerBot Thing-O-Matic. All scanned "portraits" are shared on Thingiverse. The duo also scanned parts of the exhibition and the building's interior, with plans to install 3D prints of these vignettes throughout the show. The event took place at SHoP (South Side Hub of Production) for the preservation-themed exhibition curated by Laura Shaeffer, John Preus, and Alberto Aguilar. It ran from May 26th to July 15th, 2012, with an opening reception on May 26th from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at 5638 S. Woodlawn Ave., Chicago, Illinois.
