On Car String Alignment Box Jig
thingiverse
NOTE: This is a work in progress! After doing the string alignment on my GBS Zero, I decided that I wanted something a little better than PVC pipe and jack-stands. I looked at a few DIY printable jig projects but didn't like how much time they'd take to print (More than a day for some parts if printed at 100% infill as they suggest!) or how much material they used. I've knocked together these parts to see if I could do a little better in terms of print time and material used. I still plan to print at 100% infill since I'm going to rely on tapping holes for set screws. My goal was to minimize the amount of support material needed and avoid excessive material use where it's not necessary. The parts are sized for 3/4" square aluminum tube and 3/4" SCH 40 PVC pipe.
