On Air Signs - Various
thingiverse
This sign is designed to be illuminated to alert others not to interrupt when you're recording. We selected "On Air" because it's shorter and conveys a similar message as "Recording". We haven't finalized the electronics yet, but plan to utilize something like a WS2812b LED combined with a wifi microcontroller. You can say, for instance, "Hey Cortana, I'm recording now!" The signs come in 2-sided and 3-sided wall-mountable versions, as well as a 2-sided desk mount version. Each has variants that include or exclude integral letters, allowing you to either print the letters in another color or paint them. The 3-sided model also comes in a 2-part design with a removable top to prevent support marks from showing through translucent filament. A wall mount is included for hanging the signs on walls. Full disclosure: Gearbest provided me with the CR-10 that I used to print this, so I feel somewhat obligated to put it to good use. If you enjoy my projects, I don't mind receiving Tips, but checking out our Lego R2-D2 YouTube page also helps.
