A traditional house from Nias island in North Sumatera province, Indonesia is known as an Omo Hada or rumah adat. This type of house is built without using nails and is earthquake resistant. Nias is a unique place because it preserves the megalith culture, "The Megaliths Living Culture", which makes it one of seven places in the world that still have this cultural heritage. For this reason, UNESCO has designated Nias as a World Heritage site for Indonesia. This traditional house from Telukdalam on the south side of Nias Island is located near Sorake Beach, a famous beach with beautiful waves, attracting tourists from around the world. You can learn more about Omo Hada at Wikipedia or this blog. Hopefully you enjoy my design and print it out to remember to visit Nias Island for your next holiday destination. If you appreciate my work, please give me a like because we love Indonesia. This 3D model was created with Tinkercad.
