OmniWheel
myminifactory
University of Padua, Italy Department of Study: Mechanical Engineering I'm currently attending the first year of Mechanical Engineering at University of Padua and I believe Omniwheels showcase the potential of mechanics. This project enables users to create their own omniwheel for utilization in various projects (it's feasible to produce multiple units for enhanced reliability and reduced backlash, such as locking two units with a spacer). To assemble the 8 wheels, eight aluminium or brass rods (3mm diameter and 20mm length) must be cut and positioned between the main components of the omniwheel. I hope you found my design engaging; I'm excited to see Omniwheels being implemented in your projects.
