When I mount spools outside, I prefer mounting the spool parallel to the frame, so I did this mashup to use with the external OmniStand mount I designed (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2171557). The side effect is that the double spool mount can no longer hold 2 spools, but I just print one more, which I need anyway. IMPORTANT ! Like my other OmniStand Mix, I created the mashup in FlashPrint, so you must rename the "stl" file extension to "fpp" because thingiverse doesn't support fpp uploads. I have no intention of creating a STL for now as the mash prints nicely straight from FlashPrint and is designed specifically for the Flashforge Dreamer only. I also want to demonstrate how easy it is to do quick customizing in slicers using just the scale/move/cut functions. Post-Printing The mix is on the left, with the spool rod directly connected without using the spool stand. The original method is to the right (black spool rod with spool stand).
