I designed this using Fusion 360 and various tools, bringing the shapes to life through sketches. It's made up of simple forms like a large sphere attached to smaller spheres that form the legs. The feet are basic shapes arranged in a plus pattern. However, the legs require more detailed design work. You can see exactly how I did it by watching the video, but essentially, I started with a sketched line and lofted a rectangular shape along that line. Then, I created an 's' shape on one side of it and used that pattern along the path of the leg. After printing (check out the settings below), my wife sanded it down, applied filler primer, and sanded some more. Next, she used her airbrush to give it a black coat. The only thing left was to paint the eye red with acrylic paint and a paintbrush. Print Settings: Printer: Robo3D R1 Filament: Hatchbox PLA Layer Height: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Supports: Yes Raft: Yes
