To see more information, you can watch this video: https://youtu.be/n8OhpEBMrQc This week I'm sharing with you the Omnidroid from the Incredibles. I designed this using Fusion 360 and various tools to create its unique shapes. The design is mostly simple shapes like a big sphere with smaller spheres attaching the legs. The feet are basic shapes arranged in a plus shape, while the legs require more detailed work. You can see what I did by watching the video: I took a sketched line and lofted a rectangle along it to create the leg's main structure. Next, I created an 's' shape on the side of the leg and patterned it along the path to add detail. After printing (see settings below), my wife sanded the model, applied filler primer, and sanded again to smooth out the surface. She then used her airbrush to paint the Omnidroid black, finishing off the look with a few quick brushstrokes of acrylic paint to bring the eye to life. The only remaining touch was adding a bright red eye, which she carefully painted on using a paintbrush.
