OMNI2 / SUZO HAPP Joystick Spacer for Metal Control Panel

After installing an OMNI2 4/8-way Joystick in my "BitKit" Class of 81 game cabinet, I discovered that I needed a solution to shorten the length of the stick and conceal the dust cover, just like the original setup. The Omni2 stick, similar to Sanwa and other manufacturers, features a flat metal base that necessitates moving the dust cover on top of the control panel. Clearly, this design has its drawbacks. To address these issues, I designed a custom solution that lowers the stick exactly 1CM into the control panel, while also creating a small 3mm gap to hold the dust cover underneath the control panel, just like standard Suzo-Happ style mounts. Fortunately, I was able to utilize the original carriage bolts, which fit perfectly and provide excellent holding power. Notably, the mounting holes on this custom solution are exactly aligned with the standard Suzo-Happ mounting holes, spaced 66mm apart by 76mm apart. I've also included a HAPP dimension diagram that illustrates how I built this custom modification.
