Parents with small kids can easily imagine how scary it is to think that they might stick a finger in between the pulley and the belt. This counterweight protects the pulley and at the same time blocks off the thread that connects the endstop of the Y axis. If you want to screw on cone-shaped washers, you have to enlarge the hole by hand; I printed the piece with 100% infill to get maximum robustness and material to manually expand the hole... good luck!
