Omega Smallsword
thingiverse
This is the Omega Smallsword from Final Fantasy XIV, used by the Red Mage class. Once printed, you will want multiple rods to support all the pieces. I used 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm carbon fiber rods, which can be found on Amazon. The models already have about 0.25mm clearance built in, which should work for most 3D printers. The lenses should be printed with a transparent filament. The model is mainly accurate to the ingame model. When I started modeling this, I didn't know much about ZBrush but by the end of modeling the mainhand, I was using ZBrush for detailing. This means the details towards the handle are all done in Fusion 360, while the details towards the point of the sword are largely done in ZBrush. I don't think this difference in technique is too noticeable. The detachable pieces stay on with magnets. Stands for these are built into all of the models. A variety pack of neodymium magnets from Amazon should have all the sizes you need. Note: This section will be expanded, but it's late and I wanted to get this uploaded.
