Welcome to Bendar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei! This model was created in Tinkercad by MiniWorld3D founder and lead 3D artist Dany Sánchez.  (!) See the print details & instructions below. The Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is one of the country's two masjid negara or national mosques, as well as a national landmark. Named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei and the father of the current monarch, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Construction took place from 1954 to 1958. The size of the mosque is about 69 by 26 m (225 by 86 ft) and can accommodate 3,000 worshippers. It has a maximum height of 52 metres (171 ft), and a dome covered with gold. The interiors have Italian marble and imported rugs and decorations from Europe and other parts of the Islamic world.  It is almost surrounded by a man-made lagoon, in the middle of which sits the "Mahligai", an artificial barge meant to resemble a ship of Sultan Bolkiah, who reigned Brunei in the 16th century (from Wikipedia).  MiniWorld3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to all people of Brunei.
