Here's an easy way to find TDC on your om606 if your timing marks are gone or you need to align your timing pointer. It bolts on the center bolts on number 1 and 2 cam caps, uses a standard dial indicator holder, and a short M6 bolt gently self taps into the piece to steady the dial indicator. You'll need to use some sort of extension to reach the piston. I used a large piece of TIG wire I found in the shop that threaded in to the dial indicator. Now just turn the engine over until you reach 3.23mm ATDC which accurately indicates 20°ATDC, reset your pointer and you're done! I printed out of ASA as I was experimenting with printer settings and used 50% infill to ensure the piece didn't collapse or deflect while in use.
