This adapter allows users to mount the Olympus Ring Flash RF-11 + FR-1 tube directly onto a M4/3 lens. It effectively replaces the older Olympus RF-2 adapter, which was limited to use with the 60mm F2.8 Macro lens and came at a price of around €60,-. In contrast, this new adapter utilizes a standard 55 --> 52 mm ring adapter, making it compatible not only with the 12-50 mm macro zoom lens but also other lenses within the M4/3 system.
